The Gift of Time
A House In Austin believes that we have the ability to make a difference on Chicago's west side and are dedicated to nurturing healthy families on Chicago's west side. We're calling visitors, reading buddies, event planners, social media enthusiasts, early childhood development experts and more to help us make a difference! How can you participate? Sign up to volunteer with A House In Austin’s team and donate time to nurture stronger families.
Volunteer Opportunities:
My Wonder Kids: Assist staff and fellow volunteers in the Wonder Kids studio, where they engage in imaginary play, fine and gross skill development activities, reading, and a healthy snack.
My Fresh Table: Assist staff in the parent development program, My Fresh Table, where we prepare healthy meals together. Volunteers help set up, run, and clean up each class, every other week.
Cleaning: We offer various opportunities for individual or groups to help maintain our beautiful facilities.
