Monday
4:00 pm - 6:00 pm My Wonder Kids Reading Buddies: Join us for after school fun as younger children get paired with older children for reading time. Followed by a read aloud, snack time, open play and art studio time. Parent Café: During this time, parents can join their children or take a break in our Parent Area. The space will be open for conversations, use of computers, kitchen, reading, and support will be available from our Parent Support Specialist. 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Chicago Hopes for Kids’ Ready Readers K-5th grade starting September 30, 2024 Tuesday
5:15 pm- 6:00 pm My Wonder Kids’ Music and Movement Come early on Tuesday and join us for our parents and kids music and movement class. We will be singing, dancing, and playing. Tuesday 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Parent Chat: An opportunity to meet other local parents, discuss important parenting topics, learn, and be supported. Led by our Parent Support Specialist. My Wonderkids: While the parents are supporting each other, our children’s program is available for our in-person families. In My Wonderkids, your children will be doing activities to work on their social, emotional, motor, cognitive and language development. 3:30-4:30 pm Maia’s Garden Join families learn basic gardening skills to grow your own food. 4:30 pm-6:00 pm Wellness Wednesday Open Play Come join us anytime between 4 pm -6 pm for family open play and small group activities around wellness and hygiene. 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Wellness Wednesday Time to Move My Wonder Kids Physical activities will be provided for children to move and increase motor skills. Parent Yoga Parents will be offered a snack and have a yoga class with an expert teacher. 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm e/o/w- My Fresh Table September 18, October 2, 16, 30 A 4-week cooking course introducing families to healthier food options, budgeting, reading and understanding nutrition labels, meal prep. Offered in-person! Parents win kitchen and household supply raffles weekly. Sign up My Wonder Kids’ Fresh Table Children’s programming that runs during the cooking class. Children have their own space to learn about healthy eating and interact with each other. Thursday- no programming

Available for in-person and virtual. My Wonder Kids: While the parents are supporting each other, our children’s program is available for our in-person families. In My Wonderkids, your children will be doing activities to work on their social, emotional, motor, cognitive and language development. 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Educational Parenting Group (Book Club) Join us on Thursdays as we discuss understanding our kid’s behaviors, tools for managing, and best parenting practices. 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm First & Third Thursday of the Month Welcome to Fatherhood Group: We are partnered with non for profit Welcome to Fatherhood for bi-weekly father support meetings. 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm ● 4 weeks of Yoga starting Aug 31 ● Parent Support starting Sept 28 (More information to come) ● Chicago Hopes for Kids’ Ready Readers K-5th grade starting September 30, 2024 Open Play Days: Our house is open for play and fun. Grab your friends and children and hang out in our play space and yard!
