A House In Austin Annual Bake Sale
Join A House In Austin for our annual Bake Sale at the Oak Park Farmers Market on Saturday, June 20 from 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Pilgrim Congregational Church of Oak Park, UCC.
Since 2023, our Bake Sale has brought together community members, volunteer bakers, local supporters, and families for a morning filled with homemade treats and community connection — all while supporting families on Chicago’s West Side.

Bake Sale GuidelinesThank you for supporting our bake sale! To help us follow local health guidelines and keep everything safe for guests, all donated baked goods must follow the rules below.
What You Can DonateAll items must be baked goods where flour or meal is the main ingredient.
Allowed items include:
Packaging RequirementsAll baked goods must be individually wrapped or packaged before drop-off. This helps protect the items from dust, rain, insects, and handling.
Labeling RequirementsEach item must be labeled with:
Oatmeal Raisin Cookie — $1.00
Ingredient InformationEach baker must provide a full ingredient list for every item they donate. The ingredient list does not need to be attached to each baked good, but A House In Austin must keep it on file and provide it to the Village of Oak Park Health Department if requested.
Baker InformationA House In Austin is also required to keep a record of all volunteer bakers who prepare items for the bake sale. Thank you for helping us keep everything organized, safe, and compliant.

- Cookies, Brownies, Cakes, Cupcakes, Muffins, Breads
- Sweet fruit pies, such as apple, cherry, peach, or berry pies
- Homemade candy, Trail mixes, Jams or jellies, Home-canned goods
- Items containing meat or cheese, Items with custard, cream, meringue, or pudding fillings
- Pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie
